My Practice.
For me, therapy always starts with connection. I want you to feel comfortable, understood, and genuinely supported as we work together. I see therapy as a team effort where we figure things out side by side. A lot of people reach out when life feels heavy, but I also value when clients begin before things get too overwhelming. It gives us a chance to build trust, strengthen our relationship, and create a foundation that’s there when you need it most. I often use DBT, CBT, and EMDR, but I’ll always adapt my approach to what feels right for you. In our sessions, you can expect reflection, validation, gentle challenges when they’re helpful, and practical tools you can take with you outside the room.
Therapeutic Approaches & Focuses
I support people through many different challenges, like anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, parenting struggles, relationship ups and downs, and difficulties managing emotions. My approach is grounded in evidence-based and trauma-informed care, but also flexible, down-to-earth, and centered around your goals. I believe real change happens when you feel safe and supported, and I work to create a space where you can explore openly, build resilience, and feel more confident in yourself and your relationships.
From a young age, I knew I wanted to help people feel seen, heard, and supported. Being a therapist has felt like a calling my whole life. I genuinely couldn't imagine doing anything else. When I need to reset, nothing beats a slow Sunday morning with coffee in bed, a long walk, and some snuggles with my dog, Toda. Fun fact: I took my family dog to prom as my date in high school… and we even made the front page of the local paper!
